How to Move Abroad

BLACK DIGITAL NOMAD LIFE: THE FIRST STEPS TO MOVING ABROAD!!

Does Corvid19 have you wishing that you were anywhere but where you are now? Do not worry! Corvid19 will be a thing of the past soon enough.  But, where will you be? Are you going to use social isolation as a chance to create a change in your life? Have you been longing to live somewhere else?  Go the places the Instagram bloggers go?

If so, making it happen starts with believing that you are capable of ANYTHING! The sentence is simple, but POWERFUL!  You should look in the mirror and say it every morning!  Say it with confidence!

It gives YOU all the power to transform your life into the life you want.

BUT the question is, are you going to do the work to make your life all that it CAN and SHOULD be?

Are you going to look fear in the eye and do it anyway?

Are you willing to cast aside your limiting beliefs?

It doesn’t matter what higher belief system you have or if you have any at all, one thing remains TRUE – WE ARE SO MUCH MORE POWERFUL THAN WE KNOW!

So if you want, to create a major shift in your life, start with believing that you are capable of ANYTHING!  Then act on those beliefs.

If you want to move abroad, YOU ARE CAPABLE OF DOING IT. The world is YOURS!

Here are five steps to getting you started.

(1) Ask yourself why you want to move.  Right down all the reasons WHY in a journal. For example, for me I was tired of going into an office every day with fake people and working on things that in the long run didn’t really matter etc

(2) In the same journal, right down all the things you want in your ideal place of residents.

For example, for me it was important to be near water and to have warm weather etc

(3). Write down 3 places you would like to live and research them.  Google ANY and everything you can about those places.  Watch Youtube videos.  Follow blogs.  If you have already visited those places, pull out the photos and write down what attracts you to each place. Each day for a week, find out something new about each place.

(4) Research the cost of living in each place.  Find out how much the average rent cost.  Create a monthly budget for each of the places you are interested in living based on how you want to live and local costs.

(5) Schedule a chat with someone who lives in each of those 3 places.  Ask around.  Post on Facebook.  Reach out to people on LinkedIn.  Have 15 questions prepared to ask those people based on your research.

If you follow all of the above steps, you will have all the information you need about your dream location and with that information, your next step is to GO!
