Black people are thriving abroad! We are world nomads! Here are a few online communities to connect with other Black expats and Black digital nomads.
2. Expat Divas– This group is dedicated to highlighting and supporting women of color who are living outside of their passport countries. This platform encourages women to share their expat experiences.
3. African-Americans Abroad – This group 1) Brings an African-American perspective to travel, being abroad and international events; and 2) Brings an international perspective to African-American life in the United States.
4. Black America Living Abroad – Wanna be a B.A.L.A? – They help Black Americans find resources for living in other countries as well as help connect like minded people within other countries.
5. Brothas and Sistas of Chiang Mai – A community of expats of color who are living and visiting Chiang Mai, Thailand. They break bread every Sunday at 5PM at a different location!
6. Black Expat Families – This group is designed to connect current and aspiring Black Expat families of all shapes and sizes from all over the world. This space is intended to be a tool to connect, encourage, inspire and celebrate.
6. Black Women Thriving Abroad – This is a group for WOMEN ONLY to get help and support, ask questions, and build relationships with other women who are currently Living, working or studying abroad.
7. Black MexPats – . This group was created to have a space where POC (or those that identify politically with POC) to connect and share resources. Members are currently living or planning to live in Mexico.
8. Black Sistas Without Borders – This group documents, Celebrates and shares the trips and adventures of Sisters who travel, Sisters who travel to other countries, Sisters who travel overseas, Sisters who live abroad, Sisters who explore, Sisters who accept no limits… “Black Sisters without Borders”
9. Brothas and Sistahs of Mexico City – This group is a place where people of color can come together and share their experiences about life in Mexico. They welcome everyone of color currently living, thinking about living, or traveling within Mexico City.
10. Brothas and Sistas of Bangkok and Thailand – This group connects black africans & descendants who are living in or visiting Thailand.
