BLACK DIGITAL NOMAD LIFE: CRAFTING DURING CORVID19

Ruth and I have a life abroad, so we are sheltering in place just like everyone else.

We are digital nomads. We embrace international living and so we are sheltering in place in San Pedro La Laguna, Guatemala.

And like every working mother, I have to keep Ruth occupied while I am working.

I am a single mother and expat so this is nothing new to me, but all the same the inability to go to parks or the market is tough.

We have managed to get into a routine and establish our new normal.

We recently made a bird feeder to hang on our balcony.

It was a simple and easy project that we were able to do together.

We only needed an empty Pringles container, rope, scissors or a knife, and popcorn.

We laid the container horizontal  and cut a wide opening,

Then we punch holes through the top and bottom of each side.

We tied knots at the bottom of the container.

Then we filled it with popcorn which Ruth ate.

Voila.  We have a bird feeder!!
