Sleep is crucial. Good Sleep is essential. Your body helps to fuel your lifestyle and it needs sleep!
My nightly ritual begins after I get Baby Ruth to sleep. It is my time to unwind and get myself ready to sleep.

Before you start, I recommend you go to Settings in your phone and schedule in so your phone’s Do Not Disturb mode automatically switches on every evening when it’s time for your evening routine.
1. Prep for the Next Day
My first essential evening activity is to look at my calendar and see what is on my schedule for the next day. I write down anything I want to get done the next day and block off time in my calendar to ACTUALLY do it. I pack my bag or set up my desk with all the items that I need to accomplish my goals for the next day.
2. Self-care
Step 2 is all about gratitude. I write in my “gratitude journal” 3 things that I am thankful for today. I take a moment to close my eyes and just say thank you to the higher power for all these things.
3. Read a book
My third step is to read a book or listen to an audiobook. I love reading. But my evening reading is ALWAYS a book that I enjoy. I stay away from anything that isn’t relaxing.
Reading in the evening is to unwind before bed, not to stimulant our mind further.
4. Meditation
I sit in my bed, close my eyes and listen to a meditation. This is one of my favs.
5. Sleeping Meditation
The moments between being awake and being sleep are the BEST time to reset your brain for positive growth and change. Get comfortable in your bed and put in on your headphones and listen to a deep sleep meditation on Youtube. There is a meditation for everything – for money, love, healing, positive energy etc.
