I have written 3 (YASS GURL, Tree (3)  in my Nigerian accent) ebooks in the last month and I’ve learned a lot.  

Ya gurl is feeling herself right now!  

I’ve always LOVED to write but it has been awhile since I flexed my writing muscles. 

And like any muscle when not used – it was hella immobile from years of not using it to its fullest potential.

But you know what?  I persisted and there is something to be said about showing up again and again and again, even when you think you got nothing.

There is always something there.

Sometimes, you gotta dig deep.  Sometimes you have to stare at the wall.  Sometimes, your mind goes a little wacky, but if you stick with it – it always works out.

For me, writing my ebooks was an exercise is patience, persistence and the power of really really wanting something. Because once your brain accepts that something is going to happen, your whole aura finds ways to make it happen.

And this realization got me to thinking, we truly are our biggest roadblocks.  So many people think of every reason in the world why they CAN’T do something.  And then of course they don’t.

I’ve spoken to hundreds of women across the US, Canada and the UK who say a move abroad is impossible for me, changing careers is impossible, I can’t leave my house, apartment, boyfriend, dog etc 

And you know what, they are right.  Because what you believe because your truth and if you are unwilling to do the hard work to train your brain that YES, this is GOING to happen, then you may always find yourself exactly where you said you would always be – the place that leaves you unfulfilled and incomplete.

I learned from writing my ebook that I am enough to get whatever I want to accomplish and once I accepted that something truly extraordinary started to happen.  I could only describe it as my body being filled with this light that just keeps replenishing itself and keeps letting me know that the universe wants for me everything that I want for myself and more.  The possibilities are endless.
